Ok, so I've picked it up and the frame seems good and solid - it is a 19" as Anthony says. Originally bought in Guildford I think from a faint sticker.
Original parts remaining;
Brakes (Ritchey Logic) and levers
Stem
Bar
Grip shifts srt600 ( I still don't like them!)
Front and rear mech XT
Chainset
The bad news;
Wheels are not good enough for a run to the chip shop - cheap modern ones
The rear block is one of those screw on types - I had forgotten about them.
The forks are RSTs and won't be staying.
Saddle and post are cheap....
