If anyone has a Dolomite could they have a look through pics of them on here and point me to one where the fork pink matches real life please.

Re:

I started on the tyre yesterday, it's the biggest job.

Did the very bottom which was pretty easy as most of it is in shadow. Then started at the top, hopefully it will look like a tyre when it's done or it will be a lot of wasted effort. That top section is close to 400 paths, so, at this rate, only another 4000 to go.

You often need to change back to the stroke with no fill.

The best way to set that up is draw a line in the colour and the stoke width you're drawing with and no fill. Then open the Graphic Styles palette, select the move tool (V) and Alt drag the line onto the the Default Graphic Style within the palette.

Then clicking on Default Stroke and Fill or using the D shortcut sets the style to your stroke with no fill.

Still working on the tyre, it's very slow going. Close up of a section. Bound to be a few areas that need tweaking, like the piece of tread on the right that's not a curve for example.

normally i post funnies but i thought id try something different. the idea is quite simple, i post a question, then someone answers it, and in the answer includes a question of their own for the next poster to respond to and so on and so on. you would be surprised where the trail can take you.

so to start it off, my question:

are you a dog or a cat person?

dont forget, when you answer post a new question for the next person

Still working on the tyre.... Will have to go back and add more detail to the parts I've already done as it's more realistic than I'd originally planned. So it's not going to be ready soon.

Was probably a bad idea going for something I've not got here, apart from the wheel, or having good photos of at the right angle. But I can also do an Adroit version using my bike and reuse the tyre.

It's good practice anyway, first full image I'll have done using this method.
