Newbie with a question

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and wondered whether any one out there could help me with a query?
I've acquired the GT Tempest shown in the attached pic and wondered if anyone could date it?

I'm guesssing mid to late 90's as it still has the caratti distribution sticker on the seat tube, but as the frame is anodized rather than painted I'm guessing it's a later one. Any ideas?

If the front v-brake (DX) is period correct id say late '98, as they were '98 iirc, and the avid sd 1.9 levers are the same as the ones factory fitted on my '98 caldera aswell

Stickers point to later 90's too. And the down tube head tube brace piece.

Also on a side note.. ANO was available early on.. I've got a 1994 Zaskar ano blue. And had a Alu O ano purple..

98 or 99, whats are the forks on it by the way, im liking them

Cheers guys. The forks are basically on one but branded as insane. If I remember rightly it was their dirt jump/trials off shoot brand some years ago. They were an ebay find!
