Newbie Looking for help with a muddy fox

Firstly Hi all and from my browsing around looks like a great forum very helpful and knowledgeable


I'm looking to restore my 90's muddy fox alu lite but cant seem to find any specs on it, let alone a year I think its possibly a 93/94. I'll post some pics up once camera arrives but someone might know from the spec I can see on it

26" Ritchey Vantage Sport Rims
Avenir Topstem (aftermarket)
Ritchey Alfa Bite & Omega bite tyres
Geforce YST CS558 headset
Gripshift SRAM MRX270
MFX branded bars, vbrakes, seat post & seat
Shimano QR axles
RST 281 Forks
Shimano rear derailleur.
Shimano Tracer Front groupset?

More the groupset,chain & brakes than anything else need replaced so any help in determining what they are would be great so I can start my parts search

found out from local bike shop it's mid 90's the frame is the same as a grisley? and only muddy fox and them used that type of frame at the time & used alivo compoments

The V-brakes, lack of rear canti hangar and the decals date it to be 1996/7 at the very earliest I think. Difficult to see the details but the spec is fairly low end.
The Alivio groupset you mention is at the lower end of the Shimano range too.

The frame does look similar to one of the Grisley frames though. I can't find any pictures, but I think that stewlewis on here has one.
