Yes they did do a cruiser but its nothing like the original 5 inch tube one. It had a gusset as you can see, totally different geometry. They might do another run of those one day but not yet. I'll be seeing them on Sunday, I'll ask again what their plan is, they do change their mind a lot. Generally, the bike makers I know think 24 inch is not a good size to make. I on the other hand think it is the perfect size for guys like us.
