i've had it like this for years, i find it really comfy for me, esspecially as i ride mostly on the road, on some nice long downhill run, i can tuck the elbows in & down see 38-40mph if i give it the stacks!
it gives/gave me the drop i needed on the bars for road riding rather than spending out on a new stem!
it looks funny but it works, i'm a bit oldschool in my tastes & modifications!
i'm not a so called "retro" bike rider, i just like the look & riding old stuff that cost me less!!!
anyhoo, i'll have another pic of my new errrr old bike, i got myself peugeot road bike, needed one new tyre & i need to adjust the brakes & front wheel bearing cones & change the bloody mtb saddle some bone-on ha fitted previously!
it has 12 gears oooohhhhh but i dont know the model, i cant find a model name on it so when i get a pic maybe you guys may know what it is!
it has chrome reynaulds 501 forks but i have'nt had a chance to look for other decals, or given it a good clean up!
