I worked when I was a student at Robin Williamson Cycles in Edinburgh in the early 80s. Mountainbikes just appeared and we were among the first to specialize in them.

AHHHHHHHH

Williamson cycle's

Thats where I bought my very first 'Proper' MountainBike

I save a whole summer to buy the frame of a spanking white Cannondale SM400

Loved it ;)

Great bunch of lads in there too, They recovered my bike after it had been stolen, the lowlife who stole it, took it into you guys when the freewheel collapsed!
as I had been in and told the staff the story, the kept an eye out

Me and my bike (& Nana) not long after it was recovered

Hi McMoonter, I'm up in Dundee, I'll be heading across to Kiroughtree next week, looks like it will be a big ride out, are you up for it?

I really am not that keen on trail centres. I spent today riding great natural trails up around Pitlochry. Its only an hour away from Kirkcaldy. Some of the guys over on STW are planning a big ride from Ullapool to Bonnar Bridge and back in a day in early April. I'd like to get some biggish rides in my legs before then.

Thanks for the invitation. I'll look out on here for pics of your ride.
