New puppy

It's meant to be black and white, but it's more a bluey grey so far.

It will double in size in 5 weeks then really take off!

Cant wait till we get a dog. Sadly can't at the moment... byelaw rules state that we can't

A girl I went out with when I was 18 had a dane and a dane/doberman cross....

I can honestly say that while I have never known 2 more lovely, gentle and wonderful dogs... OH, MY, GOD they were huge... especially the cross.
He was, and I am not joking, a good 2 inches taller than me when his paws were on my shoulders, and I've been 6ft since I was 15! His head, when standing next to me, was above waist height

My uncle (bit pickled for the last 30 years ;) ), thought it would be a good idea to get a dog for my Nan after Grandad died.... said dog was off "a mate down the pub", with no famaily history or background. Nan was 4ft 9... dog was a great dane

Yeah they are very dopey acting and playful dogs, very good with kids and other animals, it's just the size of them that worries folk.

It's playmate is my girlfriends teacup Yorkshire, a very strange looking couple!!!!

Can't wait to see my 5ft 2" girlfriend walking her around when she's at full height and weight :)

So a bit like Dave Hemmings's old Fat; Blue to start with but turns Harlequin if you move around a bit...
Will he go harlequin? I thought blues stayed blue?
Lovely dogs!

Its a shame about their life span though never seen a bad tempered one....

I have, used to be a couple in a garden that we used to have to walk passed to school every morning. Scared the shit out of me every day. Definitely a case of bad owners though as the dogs never left the garden and the garden wasn't that big. Although at 7 I didn't know that and thought they were the devils own best friends.

here's my puppy dexter,a miniature schnauzer
13 weeks old and totally crackers :D

Well, seeing as we're on the subject of puppies, here's mine.

He's nearly 2 years old, so still technically a puppy I guess... He's a Beagle and his name is Barney (hence my "Barneyballbags" username!):
