New Other GT Timberline on eBay 🧐

😂 well it doesn’t work when you buy a crap basic model old car and modify it….and it doesn’t when you do the same to a bike!
...as the seller will probably soon find out! 😁 (Although, there are some people who might just buy it because they like it - he might get lucky)

I paid £400 for my 1991 GT Avalanche, including the 2x4 forks I bought on eBay, But then, that was an Avalanche, I wouldn't have paid that for a Timberline as that sits a few models down in the line up.

The great thing about something like a Timberline is you can do fun things with it, without feeling that you are destroying a high-value frame or finish. I've done similar with my '89 Timberline and '92 Pantera (which was in poor condition) I would never do similar with my Team Avalanches for example. I've spent way more than the bikes were worth to create the looks I wanted... was it worth it....YEAH! I loved doing it and enjoyed learning new paint techniques etc.etc. Do I expect to get back the value of the time and parts I put into these?.... Not in a million years !! 😁 a £50 Timberline is a £50 timberline at the end of the day!
