These are my favourite pedals.

Have been for donkeys.

Bought flats for the latest bike just to try, and I do like them, but stupidly decided to sell my spds….

However, a couple of days ago I spied these on evil bay, so snapped them up…. brand new and boxed, although the box had been opened and has been lying around for years, but nonetheless, a perfect pair of 959’s!

Oooh, lovely. Identical all bar the paint to the modern M540, the slightly more svelte big brother to the venerable M520.

BITD I bought a basic pair of shimano spd's, I remember thinking them very special and I was going to join the big boys club with proper mtb pedals.. Then using them I had a series of low to high speed crashes always fully clipped in and never got the hang of clipping in or out, I was a failure. The pedals are great but the rider is often the incompatible part. Nice find though, a great thing for those with the knack
