For sale 19 inch 1996 Kona Kula bike (frame bought off Scarface in August). Not truely retro I know but a bloody lovely bike. All pretty much in tip top condition.

Easton Elite Program Taperwall frame. There are no cracks or dings.

The forks are 2004/5 long travel Rockshock Race SIDs, dual air, Easton lowers. I found them sitting on a frame in my LBS back in August. Never been ridden before then, more or less new. Apart from a couple of really small nicks (and I mean small) on the lowers which are virtually impossible to see, these are mint!

100mm 10 degree rise, Easton EA50 stem
Easton EA50 seatpost
Easton monkeylite xc carbon risers, 660mm (a few scratches near the clamping area)
Cane Creek S-3 headset
XT V brakes (new pads) and integrated shifters/levers
XT rear mech/front mech
Raceface Evolve chainset
Mavic x221s rims - lx rear hub and specialized stout front (both straight and true)
All new UNEX Cables and carbon weave housings
Michellin Country Mud tyres virtually new

A mish-mash of old, newer and new I know, but an absolute pleasure to ride. Paying conservative secondhand prices for all the bits I still managed to fork out over £500, so that is what I would like for it. I wouldn't mind selling it all separately but it would just be easier to do it in one hit. However, if this does not happen I will be splitting.

It is a fast and agile bike and puts a smile on my face every time she is ridden. I am only selling to fund a new bike project.

I know it won't be for everyone, but to be honest the frame is timeless. The paintwork is gorgeous and the photos do not do it justice. It actually glistens like gold in the sun!
