New members and selling stuff

Re:

quality rather than quantity for posts, seen other fora where someone has thousands of posts but mainly banal twodle. If someone has one post and selling then rather obvious why joined and caveat emptor.

I don't think your a big girly ...i know u are ...n't. Like a few here have said, if you don't know the seller and they have no feedback, then "pay for goods" is prob the way to go ;)

Re:

Guilty of being a new member straight to sales section but to be brutally honest the sales section is what draws most people to these forums, although now I'm lurking and taking an interest :)

Maybe just a modicum of common sense and a healthy degree of suspicion is called for?

This is all you need...

...oh and the no Paypal Gift advice too.

I must admit being a newbie myself there is often a degree of suspicion if they start to off load everything, with myself it is opposite I will be looking for things to buy ! Although once I wanted to buy something on a VW forum and person selling item changed his mind after a couple of hours stating he could not trust me as I was a newbie and did not post much in the six months I had been a member, anyway if anyone want to check me out go to eBay same user name been on there since Oct 2000
