Like it says I'm a new member but not new to cycling,ive returned to the fold after a long break and I'm now in the midlife crisis stage.
I own a 95 bobcat trail which I've owned from new still got the receipt somewhere!
Just spent the last two days reading a lot of rebuild posts and didn't realise there were so many old bikes still out there.
To cut a long story short was wondering if there any other riders based in the chesterfield area who are willing to take on a unfit not fat fellow enthusiast on the local routes.

Welcome to retro bike!.........it won't be too long before someone near you pops up, but consider some of the national series rides. Really great days out with like minded riders, as fast as the slowest person and emphasis on great rides and fine beer........

Chesterfield just about falls within the East Midlands area group, but also close to the Lincolnshire, East and South Yorkshire area group.
Both groups are well established and active.
