NEW Hope C2 Brake STAMPED 9

Hi guys,

Im new here and refered from guys over at stw.

I cant post any pictures up on here as i dont have sufficent postings.

I purchased a brake from a shop that now will not take a refund, so i have this brand new complete brake set up for the front.

Kit comes with:

Caliper, Pads, Lever, Disc that come with the kit but im not sure if it will fit as the guy that sold it to me also told me it would fit a newer fitment which was false.

The fitment for it is pre i.s or pm. So for older bike i think as the bolt holes have a distance of 68mm approx.

Is it because you purchased them in '98...? :?

I can't believe a shop would do that to you, then refuse to refund you when their information was blatantly wrong - I think I'd be taking that a bit further, starting with a trip back to the shop and getting in touch with Hope and CAB if nothing comes of that.

Also, if the mods don't object, name and shame!

it is wrong, shop was RPM CYCLES, The problem was i bought them from a shop through ebay.

Now he claims thats it.

I spoke to hope already and they say that there isnt a mount or adaptor available and sorry.

shame really as it is brand new, btw i got it 3 weeks ago

Doesn't that mean you've got his claim that they will fit IS/PM/whatever) in an email?

And you have, if anything, more protection buying online. Limited amount of time to raise a query though (not as described?), so you might want to get on that. Do you have the listing address?
