So this must be the place for intros.. ..well I'm retro at 50 and got my retro bikes.Started late in 96-97 with entry level Marin then onto an Orange P7 with bare frame look, you know the one with no paint Pace sus/forks fitted later, sold that on to my nephew who still has it.Next was a GT LTS but sold that on..Decides to build my own so bought a Giant ATX 900 frame set and whent on the quest for lightweight and expensive goodies..after that a Cannondale and lastly in 2004 a Specialized Enduro Expert..last 3 had mostly XTR bolted all over them.
Since 2006 really slowed down with the mountain biking scene as injury and another interest took over...motorcycling.Still keep up with the Mtb'ing though not as often as I should and am not competing anymore and still have my Giant,Cannondale and Spesh, tons of retro spares, folding tyres clothes shoes and boots..So must be a retro mtber when I go out then
Great to find this forum and when I work out how to paste some pics up I'll get some in...
