Looking good mate, you been for a ride yet?

Not as yet waiting on a (chain) tug

Looking forward to it as the garden test seemed promising. Its amazing the feel of the big wheels and suspension albeit only 80mm. Looking forward to upping it to 115mm

Its not light but I think thats down, in part, to the very cheap rear wheel.

i really want to try a 29er.

that doesnt look like a 21" frame at all! that is quite cool

Its hooooge in the flesh!!

Its got a 24''+ CtoC top tube and there isn't much in the way of TT clearance - I wouldn't want to be any shorter

I do like the fact that on its own and at a glance it could be a std 26'' wheeled bike

If the wheels I have weren't disc only I would have gone with a build like this - How cool

Rim brakes would make a lot of sense around Thetford when it's wet.

I look forward to having a go on that!

Might need one of these:

;)

You heading that way anytime soon?

Why not? Disc brakes just grind themselves away in the grit with their tight clearances whether you use them or not (after all, we've both ground to a halt half way round a wet D2D lap  ) and it's not like you need serious stopping power in the flatlands of Thetford!!

plus I've heard rim brakes work better on the bigger wheels
