Before the D.O.G.S. B.O.L.X. the White Spider was Roberts top of the line MTB. I was lucky enough to find a really nice example of a 91 White Spider II a few months ago, which needed just a few changes to get it the way I wanted. I think this was my first ever Roberts but then, like the proverbial bus, another one came along very soon after. This one is earlier (89 I think), smaller and more my style. Here's a couple of pics from the original owner than @MatBH5 kindly forwarded to me.

Puh that seems to be alot of work to do.
That is indeed a proper project, if you like it "the rote is the goal" way.
At least it keeps you busy and prevent you from buying other bikes....for quiet some time as least.
