Need to Cut a steel fork asap

I'm at my mother in law's place and as s favour i said I'd cut a steel threaded fork. I only have access to normal garage (car tools) any recommendations?

I've found a hacksaw blade (fairly blunt) but no sign of any hacksaw. I'm 700km away from my workshop! 😂😲

Making my way slowly with the blade, a block of wood and the remains of a headset (from a Velosolex I'm sure), getting there...

Job done! Forks pretty straight cut. Couple o blisters, but nothing to shout about. Found this Peugeot PX Super Prestige at the back of the garage, and nobody wants it... Mine now!
