As title ...
I'm restoring an old Marin Pine Mountain, I dont have much experience with threaded headsets/forks, the steerer tube on the frame is exactly 150mm.
I have a HP-M736 XT threaded headset and according to the manual the overall stack height is H + 33.5mm (H being headtube length)
So Am I right in saying that I NEED a fork with a 183.5mm steerer? does it have to be exact or would 180mm do? Either way leaves me a bit stuck as any old suspension forks I have seen for sale always seem to have much shorter steerers
Thanks in Advance!
