I've been on the hunt to find an old GT zaskar or avalanche frame, prefereably 1996-98.
Someone had offered to sell me what they thought was a zaskar, however the curved top tube end cap and 7005 dropout stamp tell me it's not.
Its been painted/powdercoated black making the bb serial number very hard to read - however, around the head tube some areas have chipped revealing some dark blue paint underneath.
My current thoughts are it could be a taiwan made avalanche or just one of the other low end alloy frames.

It measures 18" from centre of bb to top of seat tube and somewhere around 16" from centre of bb to centre of top tube.
Not sure if this will be too small for me if I'm 5'9"?..
Any help is greatly appreciated as both me and the seller are stumped.
