There are 82 DiamondBacks. This one predates my knowledge I'm afraid, so pre 90

Well I was gonna say either 89 or 90. Seem to recall similar colour schemes on 90 DBs - but not sure when they stopped with the U brakes. That may have varied with different points in the range, though.

Unfortunately, I think I'm just going to sell it. This bike needs a lot of work. Plus, the wheel set is such an awkward size, no modern tires will fit on it - haha.

My first mtb was a 87 or 88 topanga which was the same colour with U brake, but I cannot for the life in me picture the decals. It came with white riser bars and a silver cast alloy stem.

Me and my mates all bought MTB's at a similar time - I got a 1990 BV and one of my mates got one of those.

Defo got to be around 89 or 90 model Maybe it was NOS ...

Definitely pre-91, because I had a 1991 Topanga (my first MTB!) and it had cantis front and rear.
