Need help getting an ID and date on this Orange Bikes frame please

Just picked this thing up for £40 I’m planning on bringing it back to it’s former glory but need help ID’ing it so I can start sourcing the right parts.

Do any of the Orange wizards out there have any idea what I have on my hands here?

Full STX RC besides the brakes they are some kind of shimano V brakes.

Its a score even if the bb shell turns out that is a crack... looks like a p7 that will clean up.. but as a parts donor its a major score!
and reminds me I need to chase down the age and tubeset for my clockwork frame from the frame number for decal purchasing!

Those brakes are BR-M600 and much better than STX-RC V brakes, less fiddly to set up and just look a bit cleaner. Probably better pad availability too.
I reckon that’s a dog hair on the bb shell.

Yes those M600 brakes are LX level, should polish up nicely, look good, and work well too.

The brakes are actually STX-RC, their model number is M600 ( BR-600 and BL-M600).
Deore LX used the same brakes, as did DX but in a different colour.

It's a 1997 model by the way.
