That is why we laugh in those situations, the most natural expression of fortune.

That sounds like something from a fortune cookie, but you get the idea! :)

Very true mate...my most natural expression of fortune? Cracking open a cold beer and changing my underwear!

Re:

Crikey !

I guess you could have just ridden over it , if you'd had a fat bike

Re:

Wow what a lucky escape!! I was gonna say 'survival of the fittest 'but in your case that would of been a bad thing!! Go and get yourself a lotto ticket you never know!! Mad story mate!!

Phew, lucky ! It has been fantastically windy on the South Coast today.
I didn't bother going out as I have to ride over open terrain to get anywhere decent and you get blown all over.

I left a bike box containing 2 frames leant against the shed. Came back to find box 6feet away on the lawn. My garden is available for use as a wind-tunnel by the way.

I laughed when I read this. I used to clear wind damaged trees and various other jobs in the forests.

Now and then it happens. You just have to laugh, if you still can.

Yeah I guess there are a lot of fallen trees on my trails at the mo, just the 1st time I have witnessed one coming down!
There is unrest in the forest...
