Mystery Frame

Hello, I just picked up this frame and was wondering if someone might be able to ID it. It was a Frakenbike when I got it, so I don't know if any original parts were on it. It looks to be decent quality, but I don't remember very many frames with oval top and down tubes. Thanks for the help.

2001 marin? Looks a bit like the triangular tubing they had around then.

I'd guess that this is a 2002 frame.
