simple frame 1500€ - with internal cabling, fillet brazed etc.. 3000 € :shock:



Another nice detail - the fenders are equiped with a contact knob for the light cable :idea: sorry about the blurred view
so you could take them out without undoing the whole cabling

Me too! I was fascinated by the brake levers, thanks for the explanation. Were they the inspiration for the Shimano etc. versions of the 80's? And the pedals with no axles. Didn't Shimano have a similar design for one of their 'Aero' groupsets?

In France Frexel was manufactured by a firm called RUDDAN - hardly any info found on it.

The patent for the pedal Sanzax is from a man called Souhart who had a few inventions in the bicycle sector
but they are probably derived from the "Swinging pedals" of RAMSEY dating from 1898-1900 in the US of A !

Berto's book - the Dancing Chain - is particularly enlightning about the fact that most bicycle development have been invented very early but a lot went into oblivion and were "reinvented" a few decades later :idea:
