Mystery 531 decal, Raleigh Team?

This is a new decal to me. Anyone recognise it, is it a fake?

I'd say fake as it's supposed to look like this ( as you know)

Seems odd not to just copy (or buy online) a correct label if you want to fake up the tubeset.
So although the label is wrong, it doesn't mean it's not 531 Tubes.

Get an expert to give the tubes a Flick, they can tell you.

I've had a good look at this from various angles and I don't think it's repro. Just a very unusual version of the decal ..

In 1988/89 age 13 I bought a Rayleigh Memphis using paper round money. I cut out the 531 labels in MBUK adverts, laminated and applied to bike. Immediately upgrading my frame and forks, with my imagine and enterprise. (A little later I got more creative removing the Rayleigh stickers and replacing with Muddy Fox, as there was a model in a similar colour but twice as expensive as my bike. Fooled a few kids back in the day). Maybe your previous bikes owner was like me?
