Gears to follow, when I get fed up with SS... ;)

I'm now thinking about everywhere I can lose grams,

Just wish I could find a crankset with a decent £££££/weight ratio

I have a coda crankset never used that is light. Interested?

tell me the weight.

It is a coda tartantula where you can change the spider. It has 3 chainrings.

With 3 chainrings: 640g
With 2 chainrings: 584g

I think that BCD is 94

so a few additional bits turned up recently, so I got out there and got them fitted...

kcnc stem - minus 17g
Conti Twister tyres - minus 150g for the pair
Foss tubes - minus 80g for the pair
Steinbach brake levers - minus 65g for the pair.

total weight saving of 312g, should allow me to run a 1x9/10 set up with no difference to the weight..

Like the BMX style brakes :)

What gears you plan to use?

BMX?? :?

Gears are a closely guarded secret at the moment, but all-in the set up should not weigh a whole heap more than the DCD and SS on the rear.. ;) and the weight saved on the brake levers covers the shifter.. ;)
