I'm not sure the term 'serious damage' was used, more likely 'reasonable force'!
Connecting something to the mains which goes up to 325 volts (230v RMS) with the intention of injuring someone would never be acceptable.

Man has a point. Stick with exlposives :)

Yes, it would be good to know. I know it is harsh on the new owner who bought it legitimately, but by the letter of the law the bike is still yours. Have you thought about approaching eBay/PayPal and reporting that the item sold was stolen and trying to recover the money? That way the person who bought it gets their money back (subject to PayPal/eBay refunding), and the new/current owner can do the decent thing and reunite the theft victim with their bike and not be out of pocket.

Just a thought, perhaps the police could even assist with this?

Ya did notice on the news lately that doing serious damage to people braking into your property was ok. With your luck I would be sending the VOLTS through a dodgy build. :p

There does need to be some strong deterrent/pay back and plod ain't providing it......

I'm confused.

Your San an looks a hell of a lot different to the one sold. What makes you think they are the same other than the proximity to you?

Apologies if I have missed something blatantly obvious  [/img]

40mm cut crooked off the front mech post, freshly welded plates right next to the welding i had done where the rear swingarm pivot is, dents on mainframe from headshock forks, the later seat sub-frame bought 2 weeks before mine was stolen. (wrong for frame). the only difference is mine had a black swingarm.....but this one is freshly bead blasted? and for 2 seperate rare frames to have all these trates only 8 miles away is worth investigating. not accusing, just investigating. i'm sure you would do the same.
