Thread update, just picked myself up a nice Peugeot Trail (pink / black) of eBay in original/ tidy condition. This was my very first MTB. I’ve been hunting for a decent one for 4yrs. Looking forward to receiving it via the courier. So now I have multiple bikes still to restore to ad to the collection. Still to do:

Incredible collection. My first proper (what i thought at the time) MTB was a Peugeot Laser 15. It was white and blue. I was 12 years old and I rode it all over. After a couple of years of riding, my mum upgraded it to an Anaconda in about 1991. I loved that bike! At the time I'd never seen black rims and parts on bikes. It was so cool and futuristic. I'd love another at some point.

Yeh down my driveway and back
. To be fair I did race the Bianchi in the Scottish XC series at Kirkhill in 2019 for a giggle. Never been brave enough to attempt one of the Peugeot steeds
