My obsession with cranksets

But a good one!

By the way, I recently acquired a mint condition Cannondale Super V 1000 from 1997, basically just for the good package and to keep the CODA 502M crankset. Does anyone know what the differences between this and other billet one-piece cranks, say, the 701M were?

I've picked up a set of the cyclone cranks. Can you tell me anything about them

Other than theyre pretty chunky ? Ive seen yours and some others but theyre all mtb spiders,whereas mine is 130mm bcd road.
What is the deal on the spiders ? availability wise

Yes, it's anodized. It's kind of like Hope's blue steel color I think.

I think they were made in Taiwan in the mid-90's. The spiders are probably not readily available.
