My new project 2001 orange patriot *Nearly finished*

So this month I have spent a fair few quid on building up an old favourite of mine
Frame - 2001 orange patriot LT with vanilla rc shock and eibach spring giving 6" rear travel
Forks - 2007 marzocchi drop offs with 150mm travel and 20mm axle
Wheels - balfa switchit wheels
Headset - Hope 1 1/8
Stem - Kona
Bars - Kona dh bars
Grips - Kona
Seatpost - Bontrager...cheers Gruff
Clamp - orange own brand
Tyres - Maxxis Monorail 2.1 tubeless
Shifters/Mechs/Cassette - Shimano XT
Brakes - Hayes hfx9's 203mm rotors
Seat - silver one
Cranks - NC-17 isis
BB - Fsa platinum isis

going to go down the black and silver route after chrimbo when more funds allow

Always been a fan of the patriots with that beefy rear swing arm. Never had the pleasure of test riding one. Maybe one day

its a 16" version my man....funnily enough, the older patriots feel smaller than the newer ones....no idea why :?
