My new Highpath cleland build

I guess this is a bit of a marmite bike build. The original design was ahead of its time and ideal for riding around the chilterns and surrounding areas muddy trails. Better mud guards saddle bag and tyres once I find some I like. What graphics do you think I should get for it or just leave it blank?

My 1985 Highpath just has silver vinyl cut lettering. I'll dig up the font and dimensions for you.

That's a very cool Highpath you have there. The frame's a version of David Wrath-Sharman's own 'Big Blue'frame, compared to the more conventional Cleland style ones.

I understand David Wrath-Sharman developed the concept into his hi lite version (2 large diameter bb to head tube tubes) and then later released a version with the smaller lower tube I think called big blue. Although I don't think there is anything such as a standard High path as they were custom made for the individual customers requirements? maybe some one can confirm. I must say I am very impressed with how laterally stiff the frame is placing the 2 small tubes either side of the central head tube was a really good idea. at some point I will do a non destructive lateral deflection comparison with a standard 531 road frame and a steel mountain bike. I am quite a fan of a controlled amount of compliance in a steel frame.



Dan font and dimensions would be great.

Regan what is it you hate about them? I only discovered them and the back story quite recently. I have to say it works very well for its intended purpose.
