My Marin Eldridge Grade on ebay

Retro Newbie
Hi Guys,

First post here and my apologies it's to plug my own auction.

I've just listed my 1993 Marin Eldridge Grade on ebay. I've been reading these boards for a while and was rather hoping someone else might have picked this up already so I feel rather sheepish pointing you in the direction myself.

I've owned this bike since new and would be happy to answer any questions either here or via ebay. My username on ebay is chipbarmpeawet.

My apologies if I've broken any protocols.

Best regards

Ryan

If it's the one I'm watching then it won't have been outed because people are trying to keep it 'off the radar'!

chipbarmpeawet

and you were smoking what when you came up with that name? :D :D

Nice bike by the way, I've a huge soft spot for Eldridges - all that red!

You bidding Mr Brocklanders?

Have not yet and probably won't tbh as I keep chucking money at more Orange content. Just won a pair of f7's for more then I wanted to pay.... Blast that ebay rage!

Ahhh... gotcha !

Username stuck when a friend told me he stood behind a young lad in a northern chip shop who ordered a "chipbarmpeawet". Being a southerner, this tickled me and I've used it ever since.

For anybody else from the south a chip barm is a chip butty and pea wet is just the "wet" from mushy peas !

missed out on a trick there the youngster - he should've gone for chip barm and gravy...

You're not wrong. One of the many delights I've encountered since moving north is chips, pudding, peas and gravy.. mmmmmm
