this is my 99 (i think!) standard bykes shaman - i took this pic in the summer after another classic shonky garage respray. the front end is basically a standard tao (the flatland bike) and the backend of an sta. its pretty short and great for street and ramps which is pretty much what i rode solidly.
i think this is about its 5th coat of paint now - underneath there's purple, orange, blue and 2 coats of black!
it holds a huge amount of memories for me, its massively outdated now, weighs about 40lbs and the wheels are square, but it brings a nostalgic tear to many an older rider's eye. its definitely a piece of the good(bad?) old days when bikes were built like tanks, girls NEVER thought bmxers were cool and standard gaurenteed all of its frames for life.
bits on it include g-sport homers (screw on) with alex rims (massive overkill), ss cranks (massive overkill!), stupidly cut down bars and groovy graveyard chainring which looks huge these days.
