I need info on this bike, i have scanned the net and classifieds and have not found the same bike anywhere?does anybody know anything about Fondreist and this model. I know they shut down production and recently come back and are exporting to the uk. i would like to know the age of this bike and any more info about Fondreist???

I would take a guess at the frame being a late '90s model. Maurizio Fondriest was a very classy racer. A world champion early in his career, he was best known as a classics/one day racer, although he rode to success in the Tour Of Britain IIRC. Met him at a stage once. Nice bloke.

When he retired, he supplied the Lampe team, arguably the team with which he had most success, with frames.
