My last impulse purchase, Trek SLR 8500LT a spare frame that may become a project

Good evening

There are times when impulse buys are good surprises. The crazy prices with import fees of the stumpjumper m2 and m4 made it impossible for me to buy one despite many times when I saw one from the USA. Riding frames ranging from 19.5 to 21 inches, each time my bargains in Trek MTB frames were made in the UK. I chose a 1999 Trek 8500 LT SLR in bronze brown, which was on sale at a very competitive price and immediately caught my eye. It was originally intended as a spare frame, but I think I'll make it a project.

Best regards and stay safe

Well when I received the package , it was half-open and the down tube had a small ding. Following this I decided to open a refund and return case. I also decided to give this frame to my local bike shop in case of someone wanted a beater bike frame. The worst part of the story was that the frame wasn't very well packaged and the tubes weren't wrapped and it was a seller with 100% positive feedback who sold the frame...
