My Kona Lava Dome...1993?

Retro Newbie
New to the forum, finally refurbishing my 1993 (?) Kona Lava Dome. It's a work in progress and it is going to be mostly stock/period correct. I bought it new in North Vancouver and added Mag 20 Rock Shox...for now it is what it is - rides nice for flat streets in Central California.

I am also partial to BMX bikes, currently with a few...check out my two Kona BMX bikes here:

I think Kona lost a lot of money on their BMX adventure - I managed to pick up both frames as NOS some years ago. Love em both. However, one will be parted out to build my 2010 Redline Flight XXL.

Like all bikes, depending on the month of the photograph, they have all changed some...

If you do this one up as sweetly as you have your BMX then it will be lovely.

Or your slot car track!!

Looking forward to the build too.
