Man those thieves brought a wide array of tools to strip it down like that. even went ahead and replaced some bits so you had something to start over on

I actually mocked up the before. I had all the parts but in the end mad it my own.

Actually got it as frame and fork. The wheels in the before I believe are still on the after version.

I do have a question for more experienced Kona guys. When I sent this out to get powder coated..they blasted nearly all of the TET 1650 off. I had it restamped but they didn't do a very good job. My savings grace I believe is that i have original photos. Is that a problem for the more purist individuals?

I'd say that once you stripped it and powder coated it, the purists stopped looking. It is a really nice color scheme though, almost has that Klein feel to it.

The frame was so far gone in my opinion. There was nothing nice about it. I did however have the decals remade as best as we could.
