I scrapped it with a razor blade then used a brass wire attachment on dremel. I was pretty careful.

Looking at the before and after images is like a game of spot the difference

I noticed the headtube decal switcheroo this time around.

Is there any other images of that in particular and in general?

Ooh yeah, that new paint job does look smart!

So I'll nail my colours to the mast. As more than likely this was an ex team bike, I'd have kept the frame as is. There's history, race pedigree history in the patina. It also reflects the unique decals and decals placement.

Now, whilst the paint job looks lovely, it looks a pastiche.

What hasn't changed is that it'll go like stink so I hope you have tremendous fun ripping it!
