Well I am just jealous of you being able to work on your bikes and ride them at the same time, meanwhile I am here sitting in my apartment with my man cave with all goodies in it 3000km away from me. I just hope I will have some of my collection moved here to Sweden. But soon Brodie will be finished so at least I will get to enjoy riding it.
I think you should have darken that color little bit, it is not too late, right?
I would have to say in this case that m900 cranks look the best, than syncros and than RF.
As for cable routing, I believe it is the way it supposed to go. Liner used to be thicker, at least the one I used to have. Maybe you can get suitable substitution in some hardware stores in form of electrical isolation cable.
The thing is that even that rear cable stop should only be wide enough for liner to go through, but maybe I am mistaken.
