My CX 2Danger with Essa after changes

Piotr

Old School Hero
I have this bike .... a few years, build from zero.
Today tested new Shimano Essa ( 1x8 ) drivetrain, front I have 38 t, but in Monday I get from Shimano Essa 40t.
Rear 11-40 will be ok for My CX to race and ride Kraków area.
Essa is fantastic for simple bike for everyday ride.

New tires CST Pika 700x32c are very good for terrain.

That's allot of 1x gear range for not allot of money - how do the changes feel?
Does the derailleur look and feel robust?

Everything is ok . This system but with front 32t is in my retro GT Timberline from 2 months
My previously system in CX front 46/34 and rear 11-32 = 1,0625
This crank front 38 and rear 11-40 = 0.95
Essa front 40 and rear 11-40 = 1
The result speaks for itself
One Chainring from today i think is better for my CX cross-country routes
In My trekkig--gravel retro Kinetik Bike is now Cues 1 x 9 40 / 11-36 , but will be changed on cheaper Essa 40 / 11-40 too.
