My Custom Built 1995 Trek 9200

Retro Newbie
Hi riders, I'm from an island in Malaysia called Penang, I owned this bike for more than 18 years, recently rebuilt to a 27 speed bike. The original fork and shock spoiled, leaked oil. Replaced with a Rock Shox Duke Race and bought a new rear shock from Risse USA. The rest of the components are mix and match from Shimano, Magura brakes and 12 O'clock lightweight CNC components from Taiwan.

Looks similar to the Sintessi design bike. What size are the bars? The clamping area looks much thicker than normal?

Hi, thanks for the comments, Yes, there are a few hill trails in Penang Island for mountain biking, Malaysia is a tropical country, there are a lot of jungle trails that worth exploring. The cycling sport was booming recently in Penang Island thanks to our state government actively promote the sports.

Yes, the bar is 31.8x600mm diameter, the bike mostly fit with modern components, the bar is very lightweight, its product from 12 O'clock, its only weight 126g, scandium
