I agree looks good,solid start!
Like you said about the forks they need replacing,if you look thru eBay and such like you may find some rockshox mag 20/21 will need a 1 1/8 diameter steerer tube plus anywhere between 7/9" of tube length (depending on frame size)
As for rims/hubs well the choice is vast!! Mavic/araya plus many others,hubs shimamo or a more exclusive brand hope/ringle/bullseye!
Depends what your budget is etc

Ps,half the fun is trying to root out a bit of retro gold that's why it's so addictive,few months ago I had 1 bike (gt lts2 now I have a rts1 and a rts2 from same year one part done other not started!!!) enjoy!!

Just had a look on the USA eBay and there's a mag 20 for sale 1-1/8 steerer and 7-1/2" long.
And a mag 21(newer better cond) but 1" steerer you could place this steerer in the swap section on the sales thread!
Both starting around $40 odd they both say don't ship to uk,but I bought some topline cranks off one of them 10 days ago and there in the post now(got in touch first and asked if they would ship!) so don't be put off if they say that in add.
