YES! Every bike did that, even my unknown model Dawes thing. I love that thought. And even if they didn't they bring me happiness every time I ride them so there that too!

Just tuned in for my bi/tri-monthly update in this thread and wondered if it had turned into an anyone post your bikes here free for all!

Well I’m comfy with that. @Wee Senga that frame number is very similar to a Sun or Parkes number. The first letter relates to the year and the number is the frame number. S would make it 1951/52. The frame and lugs look consistent with that age

So I've done about 84 miles on the yellow peril this week. Got to say I really love it and can’t wait to get the mudguards on. Might have a crack at that tomorrow and then it can rain as much as it likes because I’ll have dry feet and I won’t care ah right, cool, I’ll post this in my own thread then
