Thanks Bob, I said it was no worse than the black royal, I may have been wrong. I'll see what I can wrangle out of it. I would say watch this space but I'm a lame arse with build threadsThat Touriste has gone to the right home! Like the Canti's...
Lovely refresh! It'll last for another few decades now. So pleased you are happy with each other!!I've rebuilt the Kona Lava dome, I bought of off @oldave for a bargain price. Came with STX, I ummed and ahhhed if I should keep it. I love STX but it was just a bit to late. It should have 500LX. I settled on LX550 transmission and cantis. MT62 thumbies. DX hubs on Araya rims. Ritchie brake levers and early Hope skewers. Fantastic bike to ride and the epitome of an early 90s xc bike. At least as I remember it. Please excuse crap pictures.
Edit, I used the STX cartridge pads.

It was a rough as a badgers arse so I'm glad you think it looks good. That's in AMAZING nick. Bloody spotless! LOVE IT!
Remember Bob to hassle me regarding bits for the U brake Fisher frame... The U brake is ready, but PM me to see if I could have any other relevant parts...
Everything looks shite and briny! Also fitted the correct series 105 brake levers because they are more comfortable for me than the non aero Weinmann. Bars need to move down.
