Yes. However, I believe randonneur actually describes the rider, while his machine would be called a vélo randonneuse.

So, randonneuse would probably be more correcter. But perhaps we have a member who actually speaks French and can confirm? My knowledge of the language mainly stems from studying restaurant menus. With varying degrees of success, I might add.

There are restaurants in London with poison on the menu in the hope they'll get French tourists wanting fish.....

Looks great. I had a 3ttt Morphe but it wasn't entirely symmetrical, a monday morning example probably.

Thanks, it's a nice stem around £50 from memory. I've got the Morphe on the other Royal, Randonneur and R200. I really like the bend, lack of symmetry not so much

The Royal. Headset, bottom bracket, degreased, cleaned and rebuilt. Paintwork cut back and polished. Not as good as it looks, there is rust speckling under a lot of the paint. Think sunburnt black cat where they go a bit brown. Far to good to repaint IMO though. Some visible on the left hand chain stay

The Royal progresses, all rebuilt, cables need trimming. It has gears and brakes. Pedals next then ride. Purple jockey wheels have stainless steel bearings and would have cost as much as the mech originally
