Thanks very much. I would love to argue I don't have a problem but The Falcon is gas pipe, rides nicely despite that. Just don't expect it to wind up quickly, I think it's a Black Diamond but can't be sure. Identifying and dating Falcons is a nightmare. Apparently the specs could be different for the same bikes in the same consignment. A couple of builders used wrap over stays. The Falcon lugs are very similar to the Carlton Flyer. I would like to see your Carlton Competition. There are more in the loft

Thanks, the silver and burgandy Raleigh broke the head lug after 24 years. That was a sad day. In the loft, one day it will be repaired.

Got a brief ride on the Viscount tourer today. Lots of finishing to do. I may shorten the brake cables a little. As they are, there is room for my arms and hands when on the top of the bars. Some general snagging is needed.

Racks are Showa, expensive when and if you can find them.
