Well that was weird. I know that Specialized Butchers tend to weep sealant through the sidewalls, but this was an extreme incident on a tyre which weeps slightly but not massively. This morning I pumped up the rear and within 45 minutes it had lost almost all pressure and the entire outer surface of one side of the tyre was covered with wet sealant coming straight through the sidewall. Argh. But by this time I am in the carpark at the start of the ride so nothing to do but pump up to pressure and ride. Amazingly it held up for the 60 min ride, with no loss of pressure, and with crying much reduced....
