Small update, most parts are done now, just need to finish helitaping the frame and decide how I'm going to route the rear brake hose neatly as the frame guides are only meant for gear cables. My friend designs and makes 3D printed parts for things like this so I'll probably ask him about fitting something to the existing guides which the hose can be fixed to.

You will likely cringe at the idea but with my mk1 Chameleon I just pushed through the cable stops with a chisel. A good sharp chisel will go through the aluminium like cheese.

Thanks for the option, I suppose the stops could be really thin. I'm gonna explore other ways first as the frame is in such good condition still being unused.

The forks actually ended up leaking, so I took them apart and was about to fit Enduro seals until I found out that they aren't any good. Ariete seals from Italy are apparently the ones you want. I ordered a set but they're on backorder with no dispatch date in sight. I ended up purchasing another set of Shivers from a guy in Switzerland which were in better condition:

As good as these were, the decals weren't in quite as good condition as the other set, so I ordered some new decals from a guy called Filip Badura on facebook:

Along with some other decals for my other (equally as slow) projects:

The 'ECC Extension Control Cartridge' decal on the crown had seen better days. I couldnt find another available so I actually sent the pic below to a guy on the website Fiverr to photoshop a new one. I then sent his design to another person on Fiverr to print out some decals. They turned out not perfect, but pretty good!

I resprayed the crowns and feet and went for a matte black this time. Not the best job, I was going to take them to the shop but funds are tight recently. Pleased with them though!

The fender decals fitted perfectly this time, as opposed to the eBay ones which needed cutting down.

Really pleased with how they turned out!
