Tell me about your rear disc mounting??

Here's a couple of pics ;)

AFAIK the set up uses a shorter axle as it's mounted into the brake mount and not the drop out on the frame, end has to be unscrewed from the Q/R and the Q/R drawn out to get the wheel out, bracket for the seat stay look's very basic though.

RE, Kaiser, cant wait to get out on it mate, esp Glentress and Carron valley

I've managed to find a modern front mech that will fit, its a 2008 top swing SRAM X7.

Works perfectly on my 97 LTS-DH

Hi DomLake, i sourced an X-7 front mech but have no luck in it fitting, could you post some pics of yours please?

cheers
dave.

Nice one, thanks for the pictures.
I can see my mistake now, the clamp on my x7 mech is a high clamp version, not a low clamp. bugger, anyone need a high clamp x7 mech?? LOL

Also if anyone is interested I have a rear disc adaptor for this frame if anyone who has an LTS-DH and wants to run discs front & rear!
I have changed my setup to run v-brakes now.
I also have a set of x-lite Wompa 2's that i might sell ;) as i have returned to the original RockShox forks

Thanks again for the pics DomLake

Dave.
